Analysis of products and materials

IVL analyzes chemical components in products and materials as well as their emissions to the surrounding environment.

The analyzes include both older known environmental toxins and new substitute chemicals in the products and materials. It can be plasticizers such as DEHP and DINCH in plastic mats, flame retardants such as polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and organophosphates, PFOS and other PFAS substances in consumer products, Bisphenol-A and related substances in pipelines, or volatile substances released from different materials.

We also analyze the emissions of a product or material and what the health and environmental effects are. New analysis methods are continuously developed to keep up with the advancements in various areas, including with the help of “non-target” analyzes, where it has not been selected in advance which substances are to be determined.

The analyzes and tests are done in our analysis laboratory and tailored to your needs. For other methods, we work based on corresponding quality routines.
