IVL's and Swedish Insurance's survey shows that Norrköping is this year's best municipality for climate change adaptation. The results also show that the rate of increase previously seen in climate change adaptation seems to have stopped.

Climate change and urbanization are increasing the challenges of managing wastewater, stormwater and flooding in cities. The Turbinator is an invention that uses sensors and AI to facilitate monitoring and improve readiness to respond quickly to changes.
Sustainable water supply on Gotland
Gotland has been affected by severe water shortages on several occasions, with Storsudret at the southernmost tip of the island being particularly hard hit. Since Storsudret is one of the places in Sweden that is most vulnerable to prolonged drought, the test bed was established there. The aim of the test bed is to make Storsudret self-sufficient in water, and to put Sweden and Gotland on the international map for cost-effective and sustainable water solutions.
